Distillery Exclusive: Sagamore Spirit Jester Mead Cask Finish

We are excited to present our newest offering from our ongoing partnership with Orchid Cellar Meadery & Winery in Middletown, MD. They barrel-aged an orange bochet - a caramelized honey mead fermented with zesty orange to create their "Jester" mead, and we finished our 7-year-old straight rye whiskey for an additional 2 years in these barrels to craft this enchanting spirit. This whiskey opens with floral sweetness, powdered sugar, and rich chocolate pie, followed by subtle notes of honeycomb and orange marmalade before a classic rye spice finish.
